Q1: What is your camp refund policy?
A1: All registrations include a $100.00 non-refundable deposit. Registrations paid in full before June 1, will be refunded upon request (less the $100.00 non-refundable deposit). Refund requests after June 1 are granted only in the case of emergencies and medically documented injuries. All refund requests require an email notification to weavermvi@charter.net

Q2: Where do we check in if we are staying overnight?
A2: In 2008 we will be offering camps at St. Olaf College, Northfield, MN . Campers check-in at Ellingson Hall(Ytterboe Hall for Advanced Camp #1) - follow the signs as you enter the campus. Check-in time for all camps, except the National Elite Camp, is 8:30 - 9:00 a.m. on the first day of camp. Check-in for the National Elite Camp on July 7th is 2:00 - 2:30 p.m.

Q3: Where do we check in if we are commuting?
A3: For all camps, commuters check in at Tostrud Fieldhouse.

Q4: When do we check into the MVI Elite Camp?
A4: Check in is from 2:00 to 2:30 PM on the first day. Physical testing goes from 2:00 - 3:00 PM.

Q5: When do we check in for all other camps?
A5: Check-in time for all camps, except the National Elite Camp July 7th, is 8:30 - 9:00 a.m. on the first day of camp. Check-in for the Elite Camp on July 9th is 2:00 - 2:30 p.m.

Q6: May I choose a particular roommate?
A6: Yes, please indicate your request on your roommate request/medical form. You should receive this form automatically from MVI via email. All final payments and forms are due by June 1. Late payments need to be made by cashier's check or cash.

Q7: How many players are in a room?
A7: All of the rooms for our summer camps are doubles. Please request only 1 roommate. There are no triples or quads.

Q8: Are there phones in the room?
A8: Yes, good for local calls. Long distance calls may be made from these phones but they require a credit card or a collect call. Parents should get a copy of the dorm room phone number when checking their daughter in. All cell phones must be turned off at curfew.

Q9: Are linens provided?
A9: Yes, there will be two sheets, a pillow case, a towel, wash cloth, blanket and pillow for each overnight camper. These are turned in at check out.

Q10: Are the dorms air conditioned?
A10: No, you may want to bring a fan.

Q11: Are there refrigerators in the dorms?
A11: No, we recommend that you bring a small cooler to keep beverages cold. There will be free ice available at the food service and gym that campers may take to their dorms to re-stock their coolers.

Q12: How much spending money should I bring?
A12: If you desire to purchase the limited edition camp T-shirt, available from Northland Design, the cost is $10.00. In addition, campers have the option of ordering pizza at night from the local Northfield Pizzerias. That cost averages $4.00 - $5.00 per camper, depending on how many nights they order pizza and how many campers share a pizza. In addition, the St. Olaf College bookstore is open during some camp sessions. Some campers like to purchase St. Olaf soveniors such as St. Olaf College Volleyball T-shrirts, visors, etc. All of the above mentioned items are up to the discretion of each camper and her family.

Q13: Is it ok to drive myself to camp?
A13: If it's ok with your parents you may. However, if you're an overnight camper there will be no driving during camp. If you are a commuter camper, park your car in the Tostrud Fieldhouse lot in the morning and go out to it after the day is over at approximately 9:00 PM.

Q14: Where do I park after I unload?
A14: Parking is ample on the St. Olaf Campus. There is a large lot available near Tostrud Fieldhouse.

Q15: What about my keys?
A15: Overnight campers, once you park in the lot you are told at check in, give your car keys to a camp director. He/she will keep them for you until it is time to check out. Do not, Do not, Do not forget to make sure you find out what parking lots are okay to park in overnight.

Q16: Is there an athletic trainer at camp?
A16: Yes, a certified trainer is on duty during all gym sessions. There are no certified medical personnel on staff from 9 p.m. - 8:30 a.m.

Q17: What if I get ill at camp and I am an overnight camper?
A17: Every overnight camper must report to the Fieldhouse for every session. The certified trainer will then make a determination regarding the recommended level of participation for the camper.

Q18: What if I get ill at camp and I am a commuter?
A18: If you plan not to report in the morning please call the St. Olaf College Training Room and leave a message and a number where we may reach you during the day. You may also phone the directors at: 612-720-2478

Q19: How do my parents contact me if there's an emergency at home?
A19: MVI: 952-892-1721 or 612-720-2478. Also, from 8:45AM - 5:00PM, the St. Olaf College Summer Programs office will take calls for MVI camps.

Q20: When do we check out of the MVI Elite Camp?
A20: Each team will meet with their coaches for about 15 minutes after the conclusion of the camp tournament. Then each team member is free to check-out. This is usually approximately 3:00 - 3:30 p.m. on the last day of each camp.

Q21: How about check out for the other camps?
A21: Check-out begins after the conclusion of the camp tournament. This is approximately 2:30 - 3:00 p.m. Parents are invited and encouraged to attend the camp tournament on the last afternoon of camp! Competition begins at 1:00.

Q22: What time is check out?
A22: Check out on the last day of camp is approximately 2:30 - 3:00 PM. We encourage parents to come a bit early and watch the tournament play in the Fieldhouse. If you do come please bring something to sit on - there are limited bleachers and only a few chairs.

Q23: How do overnight campers check out?
A23: Return to dorm to clean room, pack, bring sheets, towel and wash cloth downstairs stuffed in pillow case turn those in and drive home safely.

A24: After receiving the material from the coaches, day campers may leave with their parent or other adult.
