Directions to Macalester College, St. Paul, Minnesota

From Interstate 94, exit on Snelling Avenue and go south on Snelling Avenue to Grand Avenue. Turn right (west) on Grand Avenue and go one block. Turn right (north) on Macalester Street.

From the north on Interstate 35, take 35E into St. Paul. Exit to Interstate 94 westbound, and follow the directions above.

From the south on Interstate 35, take 35E into St. Paul. Exit at Randolph Avenue and proceed left (west) on Randolph about 1 mile. Turn right (north) on Snelling Avenue and proceed to Grand Avenue (about 1 mile). Turn left (west) on Grand Avenue, and go one block. Turn right (north) on Macalester Street.

From the Airport, follow the signs for St. Paul/Highway 5. After you cross the river, exit right onto Edgcumbe Road (keep left as you exit) and follow for 1 mile; stay to the left and take Fairview Avenue. Follow Fairview Avenue for 2 miles. Turn right (east) on Grand Avenue and go three blocks to Macalester Street. Turn left (north).

A word about parking

Parking around Macalester is always at a premium. On the morning you check in there will be 100+ people arriving at the same time. Please do not be surprised if you end up parking quite far from the dorm.
